[QUOTE=The Occultist;1571623]Call the clerk of court. They usually have answers to questions like these. I don't see that having a lawyer will make much of a difference because there is no more trial. First of all, the clerks do not answer questions, and where do you think there is no more trial?
The clerk will probably tell you to just show up and make sure you have enough money to pay for everything (including bail). After this is all cleared up, take the court order saying you can drive to your DMV and make sure that they actually reinstate your license. Sorry, but are you holding the forum crystal ball?
A common mistake is that they thing once court is resolved that everything is fine, and end up continuing to drive on their suspended license and will get arrested for that later. You can find some of those people on this board with minimal searching...
And the OP is one of them.
It is our unanimous opinion that you are damn right and it should be obvious to any moron that your (ex) (SO’s ex) (boss) (landlord) (local police) should be immediately (jailed) (fired) (reprimanded) (arrested) (demoted) (shot) (evicted).
In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.
