| | | Driving while suspended??? What is the name of your state? Kansas my fiance lives in Kansas and always has. he has never had a missouri drivers license. while driving in missouri he was pulled over for speeding. the officer said that his kansas license was valid but he was suspended in the state of missouri. he gave his license back to him and told him to go on his way, but wrote a ticket for "driving while suspended in missouri". upon checking with the missouri dmv, they had issued him a "computer generated drivers license with a drivers license number" they did not suspend his kansas license and the kansas dmv said he is legally able to drive. how can you have 2 seperate drivers licenses from 2 different states at the same time? can he beat this "driving while suspended" ticket? in reality, he had a valid kansas license, from the state in which he resides. seems like the state of missouri should have conveyed info to kansas & that license should have been suspended. |

| | | It is possible for you to be suspended in one state and have a valid drivers license from another state. He needs to get a copy of his MVR from Missouri and find out why he is suspended.
It could be a mistake or it could be valid. No way to know until you get the records or if he remembers an old ticket that he failed to pay. | |
