4 DWLS in Florida

What is the name of your state? FL

Pulled a background check on myself and showed up with 4 DLWS, all four were adjudication withheld. They were listed as Criminal Traffic. Is there anything that I can do to resolve or remove these from my record?

I don't know much about DWLS's but it could be that it hasn't been long enough since you got a DWLS. If it's anything like a speeding ticket you have to wait 1 year before it goes off your record.

Expungement/pardon

There are several thousand questions on this forum similar to yours. Thus, I have prepared a standard answer.

Standard answer: Expungement is generally granted for illegal arrests or unlawful convictions. Generally, pardons mean you are forgiven for the crime but it remains on your record.

Check with the governor or attorney general of your state to see how you can go about either of these procedures. Check with the Attorney General or the President for federal expungement or pardon.

You must remember that there may be private background check companies that have past offenses on their databases; those reports will never be expunged.

When you did the background check what did it say? With deferred adjudication or whatever it's called in your state your record will still show that you were arrested and plead guilty but you don't have a conviction. So you will always have a record until you file for a non-disclosure. With misdemeanors I believe the waiting period to have it removed from your record is 2 years.

I tried to do some research for you but I could only find it for Texas so maybe Florida doesn't offer it. I suggest speaking with an attorney to find out if there is anything you can do. Many will offer a free consultation.

If Florida does offer an order of non disclosure ask the court clerk for the paperwork or she will tell you you have to submit a letter. Or you can hire an attorney.

Sorry I couldn't offer more help but I doubt anyone else here will know the answer to your question.

You may try just calling the court house and see if they know. or can put you in contact with someone who does know.

Try posting your question in criminal law. You might get more responses.
