Equiptment Test Date

What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

I got a speeding ticket for 80 in a 55 (I know it's bad, I was passing a guys and the cop picked me off with radar while passing). The citation was issued on 8/13, and the equiptment was last tested on the 25th of June. A co-worker that used to live in New Jersey told me that a citiation is void of the equiptment used to radar you was not tested in the last week in New Jersey.

My question is does that apply to Pennsylvania too?

No, and I'd suspect that the information you received from your NJ buddy was incorrect as well. Think about it. Wouldn't it be a bit unreasonable to require the unit to be tested every week?

Regardless, the RADAR unit has to be calibrated within 60 days prior to the date of the offense.
