Question

erase suspensions off record?

What is the name of your state?MD, I recently got married and when my wife went to add me on her insurance policy(auto) I was considered high risk because my license had been suspended 3 times in 4 years. I was unaware that my license had ever been suspended. One was for a failure to appear for a speeding ticket and I dont know where the other 2 times came from. They were however right after my appearances in court for speeding violations (which I was present and plead guilty. I paid the fines and recieved zero points. On my driving record it also shows that the license was reinstated either 2-3 days after each occurance. Could they have not processed my paperwork in time? Do I have any way of getting these removed off my record so insurances cannot see these occurances? FYI the failure to appear notice I recieved and mailed in payment my check ckeared before the actual my license was to be suspended. Also since these cases were at least 4 years ago at the most and I have had I clean record for the past 2 years, I dont have any of my old court documents, failure to appear letters, or reciepts anymore. Basically, how do I get those off my record. Is this something I can expunge. I dont want the insurance company to see any suspensions on my license. Also when insurance companies do check your driving record they usually go back 3-4 years, if after 4 years since my last suspension is there any way they would know that my license was suspended over 4 years ago. Thank you in advance.
