What is the name of your state? FL

Ok, I received a speeding ticket from a FHP officer. There was another officer up the road with a laser gun, and he apparently radioed the info to the officer who pulled me over.

When the officer gave me the ticket, he checked the box for "speeding," but he didn't enter anything in the XX in a XX zone boxes.

Is this a valid ticket, since it doesn't have the speed listed?

It depends. The original court copy is the important copy. For some reason your copy might have been removed when the speed was filled in. Could be a simple accident.
If the original does not have the speed it will probably end up getting dismissed if the officer does not remember the speed that you were charged with.
