Well, I don't know what you received or where or in what state. But your questions are still not that easy to answer. If the officer had no jurisdiction to give you a ticket, that is one thing. But if it is a mistake that is not MATERIAL to the guilt or innocence, you are out of luck.

?? for lawrat

mistake material to guilt or innocence.

i received a speeding ticket almost a month ago. on the ticket it has the box for the speed i was going and the box for the zone speed. (it was 66 in a 55). then there is a box for the method - radar, laser, paced.

he left this blank, so there is no record of how he clocked me.

the area is high traffic and known as a speed trap. there are several speeding tickets in that area. there is no way that he can remember my ticket alone after a month.

second - the area is one that quickly goes from 55 to 45 to 35. he says he got me in the 55, but the location written on the ticket is in the 45 area.

is it able to be fought on the grounds of that one missing item?

Here is something FUNNY!!!!!!!!!

Do you remember that first kiss? The way that your toes curled? Those dreamy eyes?
You just couldn’t stop thinking about them? Seemed like forever every time that you were apart?

That’s the same “jerk” and “SOB” that you are here whining about now!!!!!

Yes he will remember you and every detail of the encounter, even 20 years from now. What you fail to take into account is on the back of his copies of the tickets, he wrote all the details in the remarks column. This includes his opinions and a summary of your attitude.Yes judges do take into account your behavior and attitude during the stop.
Stop looking for a loophole and be accountable for your actions.
