Errors on ticket. Should I contest it?What is the name of your state? Iowa. I received a ticket in my town for having one headlight out. On the ticket, the officer wrote down my year of birth as 1986 instead of 1982. He also did not write down the section of Iowa code I was in violation of. Should I go to court with this rather than just paying the fine? If so, do I still have to pay court costs if I win? |

| You have a legitimate cause to contest the ticket for the lack of a what law you violated. The year of your birth is not cause to contest the ticket. You do not have to pay court costs if you win. |
