This happened at the gate of an US Army base in Hawaii.
I received a ticket for having an expired drivers' license (had expired 4 days before ticket was given) by a military policeman at the gate of an Army base out here in Hawaii. I went and renewed my license the next day. Later, I received a ticket in the mail saying my court appearance is required at federal court. It appeared to be a violation, since I got it from the Central Violations Bureau. Anyone know what the punishment is for this violation on a military base is, and why I have to appear in court? Any info about what would likely happen would be great.
