Is there a phone number on the ticket? Did you call it?

No i did not call it, I just mailed it in almost Immediately with a Non-guilty plea.
So I think they will be sending me something back in the mail.

What would I say if I called? I am not sure that would do any good.

I just dont know if I should contact a lawyer or if I can go to school.

In Ny i read on-line thats its 5 points on my licenses and maybe a 60-day suspension.
Is there any truth to that?

A couple of questions:
Where did you get the ticket, ie, where is the ticket returnable? Whether or not you should get a lawyer depends on that answer- some courts are better than others.
No bus nearby with blinking lights or stop sign extended? Where was the cop in relation to you?
What time of the day? During school/after school?
How did you deal with the cop?

I got the ticket in Tonawanda NY, Yes I am pretty sure the ticket was returnable
I did mail the ticket back with a non-guilty plea. (Maybe I should have waited)
I didn’t see the bus so I am not sure if it was blinking or extended.
I looked in my review mirror and saw the cop behind me suddenly
I had no idea why I was being pulled over.
It was day probably close to 10 am when I got pulled over.
I was very polite to the cop.
