I got pulled over last night driving my cousin's car.
the police told me that the registration was suspended for
no insurance which I wasnt aware.He asked for my D. L. and proof of insurance he check it and came back good but, I he arrest me for the suspended registration Iwas cuffed , booked and I had to put $300. for my bond. Does the officer have the right to do that even after he checked my d.l. and proof of ins.

Yes. It was your responsibility to make sure the vehicle was legal to operate on public roads, you didn't and got busted.
