What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MD (violation from federal park police)

Hi, I recieved a US District Court Violation Notice for speeding on the GW parkway in Virginia (72 in a 50) under federal regulations code 36 CFR 4.21c. I'm unclear and heard mixed responses whether this will result in points on my Maryland liscense - I want to know if it is worth going to court to try to avoid that.

Anyone know the answer or have actual experience to share?

Maryland only assigns points form other jurisdictions for the "Serious" offenses. And by that we mean things like vehicular manslaughter and DUI, not just speeding.
