Filed Only?

What is the name of your state? WI

What does it mean when the status of my traffic case is "Filed Only"?

Well, what would the difference be between that and an "Open" case?

open cases can either mean that it is still under investigation or that the case has yet to have been resolve in court. filed just means that the case is in the court system awaiting trial or awaiting furthor investigation.

A little more information please. When did you receive the citation and what is your court date? Who told you that the status was
"Filed Only".

If you want more advice then also post the code section and the actual violation.

I pleaded not guilty to it and they said they would send me inffo on my court date. I'm still waiting to hear from them about three weeks later. Should I continue to wait or call them to find out what's going on?
