Fine limit on photo-based traffic ticketsWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington A small incorporated town, Lake Forest, fined me $127 for going 7 miles over the speed limit in a school zone when school was not in session, based on a photo-enforcement "catch." Isn't there a limit to the amt. of the fine when the ticket is based on the photo-enforcement "catch"? if so, how much is it and can it be reported to y insurance company? I'm out-f-state, BTW. Sue |

| You were fined well within the limit, the state limit is $124 and the certain jurisdictions can up charge the fine, in your case it is $3. The ticket, if paid on time, will not affect your license or insurance.
