First speeding ticket in PA

What is the name of your state? PA

Hello,

I was pulled over today on a downhill (of course you go faster on them, will use cruise control from now on). And was clocked at 52 in a 35. This is my first ticket and I really do not want to increase the already astonomical isurance rates this state has.

What are my options after I plead not guilty?

Your only option is to do the homework. On this forum it means reading old posts as much as you can before asking anything, then read some more on PennDOT and other sites, then ask pointed, intelligent questions, hopefully that were not asked before.

How about having a valid reason to prove you were not speeding. Also, instead of using your cruise control, why don't you try the brake pedal? It will slow your car, cruise control won't.
