Hmm. Discredit everthing I say, then close the post so I cannot defend myself. Wonderful.

Spelling? Come on man. This IS the internet, and not everyone is going to dig out a dictionary (online or otherwise) if they arn't sure on a word. Discrediting someone because of a few spelling errors is silly.

I do understand the first response, from hex, and I understand what you are saying and can see your point. However, the childish picky response from guru just reiterates my main point. Even if someone posts something that is not to your liking, or is contradictiory to what is the norm, then state that, instead of making childish posts...

You can ban me or whatever, but it will not matter because I will not likely be coming back anyway. I did not intentionally insult anyone, but I, and others get rough responses in return. What a world.

My response:

You don't need a dictionary by your computer to spell correctly. Besides, if you can't spell, how will you know to look up the word in the first place?

However, there are free "spell check" programs on the Internet that, when you click them, automatically correct your spelling! It's wonderful!

Get yours at iespell.com - - it's absolutely free (however, the author would like a donation).

Well, Bobby.... since I didn't have a chance to respond to your drivel on the other thread (that was closed), I guess I will respond here..... since you seem to take particular note of my posts.

First, you are in CANADA. In case you didn't realize it.... that is NOT a part of the US.... at least not yet!! (I do have a particular fondness for Nova Scotia, since one of my ancestors was smart enough to leave there and found his way to Holyoke, Mass).

2) You further should your lack of common sense when, after it was pointed out that this forum was about US laws..... you said, "I was just looking for someone who had a similar situation and how their trial went ect."
Do you really think that a lot of Canadians hang around this site just on the off-chance that another Canuck might have also gotten a ticket that the officer didn't find?? Gee, who'd a thunk it???

3) You have posted all of FOUR posts (as of this one). How do you feel that makes you qualified to comment on anyone's response 'style' or lack??? Simply, you are a newbie with a lot to learn, and your opinions mean less than squat.

4) And to reduce anyone's possible assumption that your whiney responses were just a bad day for you, in another post, you were defending a commercial truck driver who was pissing and moaning about how to get out of the THREE traffic tickets he got..... and that he needed to keep driving to feed his poor babies. I live in a city that literally has 100's of accidents each year from idiot truck drivers speeding, falling asleep at the wheel, following too closely, driving poorly maintained equipment, off-balance loads and more..... yet who do you think is the injured party in virtually everyone of these accidents. Damn right..... the innocent person simply trying to get to work or to the store or back home.

One of the causes of my leaving a VERY happy job as a police officer was when I rolled up on an accident between an 18 wheeler and a convertible. Actually, it wasn't originally a convertible.... it became one when the four high school girls in the car were decapitated for simply trying to get to a drive-in theater. Seems that the driver fell asleep at about 80 mph and woke up with a start when his tractor started to leave the road.... so he slammed on his brakes and jack-knifed the trailer!!

Yep, I don't have a lot of sympathy for these 'poor, pitiful folk' who cause their own problems and then whine and cry about them.... kind of like your speeding ticket.
