Following too close?

On my way to san diego. 3 passengers in the car. got pulled over cause i was following too close in the fast lane going 65. i was trying to get over cause the car infront of me wasnt going 65 and all the other cars behind me got over and went around. the car next to me was F**king with me and wouldnt let me over, he would slow down if i did and speed up if i did. I had my blinker on to get over and the next thing i know i gotta a cop on my ass saying he had been "following me for 2 miles". However i had been looking in all my mirrors for cops and traffic around me cause i cant get another ticket. So no he had not been following me for 2 miles. I have 3 witnesses in my car that said he came out of nowhere...that he got over 5 lanes from no where. He also told the passengers in my car that they should be scared for their lives driving with me. lol. But anyways, on the ticket he wrote that i was going over 65 but didnt specify my speed. He didnt speedgun me or anything. He also said i was following too close but i do have 3 passengers in my car that said i wasnt. And if the cop had been following me for 2 miles...wouldnt he have seen the reckless driving of the car to my right and the car infront of me. HELP PLEASE. I plan on fighting my ticket. San Diego, California is where i got the ticket. my email is Heartbrkr911@yahoo.com

What was the ticket for? Following to closely or speeding?

In any event, demand a trial and bring your witnesses. Bust balls and demand a jury trial.

If its following too closely, you have three witnesses.

If its speeding, you have three witnesses and he has no radar reading.

Let the ADA who is prosecuting know that you're bringing three witnesses. He'll deal or drop.

Too bad you're not in NY. I fight tickets for myself and friends all the time and I'm pretty good at it.

don't need a radar gun for a speeding ticket conviction. following you at a certain distance to determine your speed is enough to bust you with a speeding ticket.

as for the following too closely...

like the guy said, you have 3 witnesses that said you weren't. and if the cop was behind you, how the hell does he know you were close to the front car?

i'd make a complaint about the cop as well ... if he was behind you then he saw that you could not get out because the car to the right of you was f---ing with you.

i hate cops like that.

would beat the crap out of them if given the chance for being morons.
