I have a failure to appear at cobb county state court. my court date was 11/1. I moved back home to another state and recently had surgery. I tried to call the clerk to tell them I couldn't make it to court and they said all i could do is to wait til ater and pay a 65 fee to get the bench warrant dropped and a new courtdate. But, now they are saying I have to come appear in court this week as an "add on" to ask the judge for a new court date. Do you think this is forreal or a way to get me in to arrest me?
