FTA's/Tickets in CA(trying to growup)What is the name of your state? California. I have 2 expired registration tickects in California, which are now FTA's. I now reside in Florida. I have contacted an attorney, who quoted me $500 total fee. Is there any way I handle this issue myself for cheaper. I do not have funds to fly there either. please post message or e-mail me at ligegeorge.com ![]() |

| You should probably pay the $500 unless you like the idea of having a warrant for your arrest (which is very likely for the FTA), and the chance that your CA driving status is now suspended and that FL may eventually reciprocate by suspending your license there. Unlike fine wine, these things only get worse with time. Deal with it now, or pay for it later ... no jobs due to background check, suspended licenses, warrants for your arrest, no student loands, etc. Good luck. Carl
