Question

Good moral character

What is the name of your state? CT

Hi there......I am trying to file an application for naturalization but there are some areas in the application that i need to explore before I apply. These are mainly about probation/ rehabilitative programs. Here's what happened:

Couple of years ago, I was given a ticket by a police officer for "Reckless driving". Apparently, I didn't make a stop while coming out of a parking lot (Why this was considered a case of RECKLESS driving, I dont know....I wasn't drunk or anything & there was no accident). Anyways, I had to hire a lawyer to represent me in the court and ultimately I was placed on an Accelerated Rehabilitation program with no conditions/community service. My record was cleared after 3 months.

My question now is: How do I approach questions about good moral character in the application, for example:

1-Have you ever been convicted of a crime? (Was I really convicted? Was that even a crime?)

2-Have you ever been placed in an alternative sentencing/Rehabilitative program?(Although it was Accelerated Rehabilitation but there was no community service)

3-Have you ever been on probation?(Is AR considered a probation?)

Any help will be appreciated,

Thanx in advance.

AR is not considered probation.

To question number one I would answer charged with reckless driving in (date).

To question number two I would put pleaded no contest to reckless driving charge, completed AR, no violations on record.
