Highway Patrol Radar Certification

What is the name of your state? CA

Hello,

I would like to know what the certification is called that a highway patrol officer needs to have in order to operate a radar device? I was once in a court trail for a speeding ticket years ago and the judge asked the officer for the certification. The office provided maintanence logs and could not provide the court with the certication. Because of this, the judge dismissed the case. Does anyone know what this certificatin is? Is it the POST certification for the officer or is it another certification for the device?

Go to library and ask for a book on how to fight your ticket. They will have one that will answer all your questions.
