How to appeal

As I ask the Canada Transportation Office, this is not make sense for speeding in US will bring the record back to Canada. Anyway...I rec'd teh deposition alraedy but on the paper is just bs. They have my name incorrect but as I ask the Canada office, they told me are based on the driver licences and will affect my driving record and insurance in Canada. How can I appeal in US, i won't be show up there coz not make sense for me to all the way travel back to NY to show up for the pre-trail. Can I just simple fax the explanation to the court and explain everything?
