How to Plead

New Jersey.

I was recently pulled over for running a stop sign. I'm 18, and cannot afford the points on my liscense? So, how should I go about asking for leniency?

Should I plead guilty, and if so, will the Judge give me an oppourtunity to ask for compassion?

Or should I plead not guilty, and let the cards fall where they may? I don't have any wittnesses or anything, and the Cop said when he pulled me over that he had me on his cruiser's video camera.

Finally, should I plea bargain? The Cop said I was kind to him, and he'd help me, but how do I do it?
