| | | Hubby License suspension Ohio; My husband recently got his license suspended by Bureau of Motor Vehicles - The background scenario to this is:
1) He got cited for expired tags earlier in the year and got a ticket but didn't take care of it (ticket or tags) because he was unemployed at time
2) He got stopped again for the same tags later and had to make a court appearance to keep from having license suspended and he did - all fines taken care of and BMV sent him letter stating his driving privileges were restored
3) BMV sent him a new letter (after court case clearing) stating his license is suspended for not having insurance coverage during first citation (#1) (he didn't)
Does he have any recourse in the fact that BMV restored privileges (#2) but then took them away when they should have caught everything in his court appearance? It's like they did a retro-citation
this really bites! | |
