Illinois license plate- think i got a red-light camera ticket in CA

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

I have an Illinois license plate, but I live in LA now. I driver my sister's car, who still lives in Chicago, IL.
1 1/2 month ago (mid-September), I was turning left on red light, and the camera flashed, and I'm pretty sure I got the ticket. The thing is, I thought I'd get the ticket to my sister's address to which the license plate is registered, but she hasn't received anything in the mail.

Is there any way I can check if I got the ticket? I was trying to do it on CA state website, but I obviously can't enter Illinois driver's license number b/c it's longer than CA ones

OR do CA state usually send out tickets to out-of-state license plate holders???

If anyone has experience with this problem or knows someone who had this problem, please let me know what I need to do b/c I don't want my sister's insurance premium to go up b/c of my ticket. Thanks!

Yes they do but unless you receive an actual ticket with a ticket number, there's nothing you can do about it.

Don't forget to register your car in California now that you live there.
