| | | | Reference: California Vehicle Code 14602.6(a) 2nd paragraph.
My vehicle was impounded for 30 days. Impounding Agency failed to notify me within 2 day limit. I have the dated and time stamped envelope as proof.
Tow yard made me pay for the full 30 days ($950.00) and said I had to take up the matter with the city attorney even though the tow yard lot was owned and run by the city that impounded my car.
I'm not sure where to begin my lawsuit. Does California Government Code 910 apply to my situation. |

| | | | This is what you do: go to your City Hall and speak with your representative in Council. THEN, you have his or her deputy help you win this through the City Attorney's office.
