Improper Turn NJ

What is the name of your state? NJ

I live in PA, got this ticket in NJ... do points carry over?

I didnt know what was going on at a traffic circle and I guess screwed up and made a bad turn... regardless, how much will this cost? I'm most worried about the points...

Both states are members of the Non-Resident Violator Compact, so yes, your violation will be reported to PA. You will want to call your local DMV to find out how PA handles points in this manner.

The points don't transfer; just the violation transfers.

No. When you pay the fine, the violation will be listed on your driving record, but no points will be associated with it.

Actually the PA DMV says they will not post the violation to your record. I have also had several PA drivers tell me that out of state tickets they have received, even a VA reckless driving, never showed up. Check with the DMV.

Now, that answer you should be able to look up on your own.

You'd be surprised, I've been googling for a while, "improper turn nj, nj moving violations, etc"

I get some information on amount of points, etc... havnt been able to find a fine price. Is there a site that lists violations/points/cost somewhere?

Sounds kinda personal, right? Someone in NJ gonna mail it to you so that you can get it taken care of?
