What is the name of your state? Colorado

The officer wrote my old address on the speeding ticket. My new address was written on the back and is on my registration. He didn't ask for my proof of insurance, but is on that too. Would that help me if I went to court?

No, that will not make any difference. He has your name and driver's license number which is all they need.

You should contact the court and see if you are eligible for traffic school or a deferment. If not then show up on your court date and try to negotiate for a lesser offense with no points.
