Insurance increase from out of state ticket?

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? Maryland/NY

I have read some similiar posts to my situation, but still have some questions. My wife was just pulled over for speeding in NY (we are MD residents) I have read that because of certain agreements between some states to include NY and Maryland that no points will be placed on her MD license however the conviction will appear on her driving record. Will her insurance increase even though she will have no points added to her license.
