My 17 year old daughter was cited for following to close. No speeding no accident. This is her first offense and occurred in Columbus Ohio (Franklin County). Since she is under 18 must she personally appear in court? How likely is it that her license will be suspended? Any way to gauge for how long? Thank you.

Most likely her license will not be suspended. She must appear in court. She may find she qualifies for diversion.
