Last week, I was cited for failure to stop at a posted stop sign in Ohio. However, on the ticket, he didn't spell out my whole name (he spelled out Josh, and my license reads Joshua D), and more importantly he marked the "Proof of financial responsibility shown" box NO but never asked me to show him my insurance card. Can this mistake get me out of the ticket?

Don't count on it. And it won't make the judge sympathetic to really challange the cop or to haracterize the cop as lazy.
