My wife backed into a car but didn't know she had scraped it.
After returning home her friend called and told her another friend whom my wife knows had called the law not knowing it was my wife.
My wife then called the party involved and let her know that she was unaware and would be willing to take care of this.
My question would be what is the fine for this type of offence?

I would like to say that I'm new to this forum and not as educated as some I read on these post.
I need your wisdom on a matter and hope that you may be able to help me.
My wife backed into a car and marred it not know she had even done it until she got home and was called by a friend where she had left and let her know.
She called the lady she had hit and told her it would be all taken care of with our insurance and that she wasn't aware that she had hit her car.
My wife also knows this lady.
The lady not knowing who hit her car at the time called police and made a report.
The short end is that my wife was given a ticket for leaving the scene.
My question is does anyone know the fine for this or what to exspect.
I would vary much appreciate your wisdom on this matter.
