What is the name of your state? Georgia
In Georgia, about how long will take it take for a license to be official suspended? I've known it to take a long time before. Could the process go faster and how fast can it go?

It depends on what it has been suspended for

For some offenses, it will be suspended as soon as you are convicted. For others, it will take a hearing in front of the DMVS and a judge.

Driving with a suspended license is an arrestable offense. The only offenses for which the state is required to serve you the suspension before you are taken to jail are failure to appear and insurance cancellation. For all other reasons of suspension, the driver is assumed to have been served as of the suspension date.

So, even if you haven't been officially notified of a license suspension, you still may be subject to arrest for driving. It might not hurt to call the DMVS and have them run your license before your local police do it on a traffic stop. The fines to get out of jail on a suspended license arrest are pretty high.
