I received a speeding ticket (90 in 70) in Soperton GA. The officer also said their was heavy traffic, racing a serious injury by vehicle. I was not racing and their was only about 5-6 cars within 200 yards of me in either direction. My boyfriend is a witness. The trip was a medical emergency concerning my dad. I want to take defensive driving or the deferred adjudication, to keep it off my record, but am not getting any help from the Judges office. The courthouse says to speak to the Judge, but his secretary says I can't, I must appear and get his permission first. Is this true? If not, what do I need to do?HELLLLP! |
