| | | loss of license in NC?- PA? What is the name of your state? North Carolina
I recieved a wreckless driving charge in VA for 80/55. I am fairly sure that the VA lawyers can get the charge reduced to 74/55 but this does not help me with the 15 over-suspension of license in NC. I am considering "moving" my permenant address back to my home state of PA (it is currently NC only because I am a graduate student here but do not work in NC any more and actually leave every summer- and visit PA frequently when not in school)
From what I have read on PennDOT's site the VA should not transfer as points in PA and they certainly would not revoke my license for it. Is there any reason that I can NOT legally change my residence back to PA?
any help is greatly appreciated |

| | | You can't legally change your permanent address back to PA because that's not your permanent address. |

| | | What you need is the utility bill with PA address for couple months. Also, look up definition of "permanent" address on both PennDot and NC DMV websites. There are typically requirements (certain number of days you spend at a particular address). It varies by state. Finally, you also need to have the car registered and insured in PA if you do this. | |
