MD: Is LIDAR on Judicial Notice in Maryland?

I have a court date for January 15th and was wondering if LIDAR is on Judicial notice. I can't seem to find the information online and wouldn't know where to begin in the books.

I was pulled over 10-16-08 by LIDAR for doing 76 in a 55. Incidentally, I was traveling the same speed as the school bus beside me, but that's obviously meaningless to the strong arm of the law... The distance he got me was at 1151.7 ft.

Would this be even worth fighting or should I just suck it up, pay the fine, accept the points on my license and look forward to paying more for insurance?
