medication induced seizure

What is the name of your state? Tennessee My husband had a seizure from his migraine medication, and now he has been told by the physician that treated him that he cannot legally drive in the state of TN for 6 months. The only laws I can find pertain to epileptic patients. My husband is not epileptic. This was the only time he's ever had a seizure, and he has been taken off his medication. The doctor will not write a release for him to return to work because he operates a fork lift. Without the release my husband will lose his job. Is the doctor correct that although my husband is not epileptic he cannot drive for 6 months? Is there any action we can take to get a release so he does not lose his job?

Threaten to sue the dr for malpractice for giving your husband meds that caused him to sieze and will make him lose his job.
Go to another dr.
