Question

Military member needs help in Louisiana

What is the name of your state? Louisiana

The situation that I have is this: There was a police car and tow truck,
both with lights on, in the right hand lane of a two lane road. There was a
police officer on the far side of the incident scene. The tow truck was
attempting to pull a car out of a ditch. There was one car in front of me.
This car went around the police car and tow truck, so I followed thinking
that it was okay to go around. Little did I know that the officer pulled
the other car off to the side. He then pulled me and one other car over as
well. Then allowed other cars to pass by unmolested. Later when the
officer gave us our tickets one by one, he told me that he knew that I was
just following the first car and that "she" was getting the "full blunt of
it". Gee thanks....

I called the number on the ticket to find out the price of the fine. The
lady on the phone told me that it takes 3 to 4 wks for it to post. I then
asked if she could give me an idea of the price. She could not even find it.
She told me to call back in 3 to 4 wks. Gee thanks....

I was issued a ticket for 32:26 "disregarding an order of police". I'm a
member of the military stationed in LA. I have a PA drivers license and my
car is registered in CA. I wondering if anyone knows how much the fine for
this disturbance would be and what effect it would have on my PA license and
Insurance.

Thanks for any help,
