Hi there. I'm from Maryland and I recently received a notice of trial for driving without current tags. My name was misspelled on the notice. I was wondering if this entitles me to any kind of exemption. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks again.

The judge will correct when you let him know it is spelled wrong. Your only other option would be to find someone with that name and give them the summons. If the other info is correct, such as your address and DL number, failure to show will automatically generate a warrant for your arrest. Do you feel lucky???

Oh well. It was worth a try I suppose. Thanks again for the reply.
