I was in a motorcycle accident 3 months ago. My prognosis , parapalegic. I have yet to receive any money. I was on the motorcycle as a passenger. Should I sue the drivers insurance? If I would, would this effect him personally or financially in any way? Would they only go after his insurance company?

you should talk to a lawyer right away. With your injury, you want to find out all your rights before settling with anyone.
