motorcycle speeding

What is the name of your state? NY

hello

I was pulled over last month for speeding on my motorcycle in courtland county NY. At the time I was pulled over the police officer tagged me with radar (as i was going around a turn and he was comming in the opposite direction!!), and by visual estimate. Although I was going 85 in a 55, he wrote the ticket for 74 in a 55. I am licenced in CT and my most recent prior speeding ticket was in VT last winter. All of my speeding tickets prior to that are over 18 months old. I decided to plea not guilty and requested a deposition. On the deposition he wrote that he observed me with radar and by visual estimate at 85 mph. is the discrepency between the ticket and the deposition grounds to motion for dismissal? Also, my motorcylce is registered in NY and I have a CT drivers licence, will insurence find out about this ticket. Any advice at all would be helpfull...thanks.
