Multiple Violations

I'm in Bolingbrook, IL, Will County, and I'm afraid I've gotten myself into a lot of trouble. About three weeks ago I was given a written warning for failure to stop at a stop sign. Had I kept my nose clean for three months, I'd have been OK. But, Wednesday I got hit for speeding in a school zone, which carries a mandatory court appearance. I don't mind paying the fines for the speeding or the stop sign, but I am deathly afraid of worse punishment, like suspending my license. Does anyone out there have any idea how bad they're going to whack me? My previous driving record, before this horrible month, is so-so, but I haven't received any other tickets in at least two years.

DRN-thanks for pointing out my faults, I am fully aware of them and do deserve punishment. But my reason for coming to this forum was for advice, not further persecution, so if anyone has anything a little more encouraging to say, I'd love to hear it..

What persecution? You were caught. Pay the fines and penalties.

Like I said before, I totally agree that I suck. My question was, does anyone know what the penalty is for this (that I am prepared to pay and agree I deserve)? Could anyone tell me the answer to that without telling me yet again what a loser I am?

My response:

I must apologize for my fellow contributors. They know, as well as I do, that the rules of FreeAdvice require us to preface every response to a criminal writer by opining that the writer is a "loser" - - and you are.

This was merely an oversight, and we promise it won't happen to you again.

And writer, let me add that should you wish to take advantage of our freeadvice "double your money back if you're not satisfied" guaranty, please email the website administrator in triplicate before your 3 day right of rescission has expired.
