I received a ticket in New Jersey last week for illegal passing. The officer misspelled my last name on the ticket.
Is there any way I can have this ticket dismissed for this reason? Do I need a lawyer to handle this or can I point it out to the judge myself? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Misspelled names is not a just cause for dismissal of a citation. Incorrect DL number, code or law number, and location of violation are generally the only errors on a citation that can be used as a reason for dismissal.
