National Driver Registry

have a serious issue with the National Driver Registry -
2 months ago I moved to Pennsylvania from the State of Connecticut. I have always resided and lived in CT until recently. I recently went to the Pennsylvania MVC to obtain my drivers license. Once there I was told that the National Driver Registry had 2 hits on my name and d.o.b. One was for the State of AZ and the other State of NJ. Though before I continue might I add that my name and last name is very common. I clearly explained to the gentleman at Penn MVC that these violations were not mine nor had I ever been ticketed in those states also stating that the name showing on the file was just a match on the first and last name not middle initial or the JR at the end. I have my first middle intial last and Jr on my current CT drivers license and still I was told to contact each MVC and obtain a clearance letter. I contacted the State of AZ MVC and was told to submit copies of my birth certificate, ss#, drivers license. I did as they asked and within 2 weeks had a clearance letter.
I contacted NJ MVC and it has been a nightmare. I have sent them every piece of identifiable information that shows this record is not mine but it has gotten me no where. I was told that the record on file was for a ticket for an open container in a vehicle and that there was a warrant for the person with my first and last name and D.O.B. I contacted the municipal court in Camden, NJ and was told that I would have to go to court in order to prove that this file does not belong to me. I am frustrated and I am looking for help from anyone that can advise me in regards to this matter.

The ticket in Camden must have been issued to an individual with identification. Name/dob can match many people. You would have to find out what identifying information was on the ticket (such as license number).

If the person with the warrant was actually arrested, there should be a photograph associated with the warrant.

In any event, you may have to appear in person to correct this.

If you know any of your local police officers in CT or PA you can get them to run your name/dob for a warrant check. The information that comes up may include the identifying information I mentioned earlier that could rule you out.
