In Need Of Great Advice!

What is the name of your state? Oregon

I need advice on a defense. I have written several times to ask for some optimistic advice and no one yet has had any advice on a defense. I need someone to look over all the info again and tell me what they can do that is helpful, some advice. Please dont disregard this message, I really need some feedback. It is the question listed as "disability." Thank you!!!

You have not proven that the ticket was not warranted or valid. You even admit you committed the violation. No one on this forum can help you anymore. What you need is a lawyer to represent you in court. Click on the link above or let your fingers do the walking in the yellow pages.

Pay the ticket. You broke the law.

The only thing that will come of you successfully showing that you don't deserve the ticket because of your disability is a revocation of your license.

Obviously you have trouble driving. The judge may find that you don't have to pay the ticket but then he will probably not allow you to drive at all because you are dangerous to yourself and others.

Incidently, what exactly is your condition? Is there a medical term?...

RE:INFO

My disability is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I am in a tight place. I just got married, money is tight. I am in school full time and If my insurance rates go up I will not be able to afford to drive. I love my wife but I dont want this to put unnecessary stress on my relationship. Surely you relate to this. That is why I am looking for help. Is it not possible to get them to drop it or lessen the charge is I had My medication rechecked and or got some type of therepy for this problem? Thank you for responding!!!

You ain't from around these parts are ya??

OK look you have problems driving. A police officer noticed the dangerous nature of your driving and ticketed you. The dangerous nature of your driving is due to your disability.

Why should you be let off easy or allowed to have low insurance rates just because you are "disabled" when the disability is causing the danger in the first place. Blind people don't drive for a reason...they are disabled.

If this puts a strain on your marriage, you two have deeper issues that are out of place on this forum.

Call your doctor, the one who diagnosed you, and ask him if they dismiss moving violations for ADHD. Maybe he'll know of some.
