What is the name of your state?
I have a court date next week in Howard County, Maryland for speeding (roughly 15 mph over the speed limit). I was clocked on radar. I called the police department's communication office last inquiring about a motion for discovery in order to obtain the ticketing officer's paperwork. However, I was told that information could only be seen the day of trial and that I would not have the opportunity to view it anytime sooner. This doesn't seem right to me. Does anyone have any information about Maryland law or advice about how I should handle this?
