New Car

What is the name of your state? Indiana
I am buying a new car privatly, I was told that I can legaly drive with the old plates or no plates for like 30 days (kinda like the temp tags when you buy from a dealer). Is this true? Sorry i wasnt sure where to put this.

It's illegal in every state to drive a motor vehicle on the public roadways without proper tags.

Contact whoever issues tags in your state to find out the requirements.
