The ticket was $250, but I heard that after I send in the payment, they will send a notice asking for me to send them my license, hence to suspend my license for 30 days. Is this true?

I don't know the NH law very well.

Thanks.

BTW i am 17 and a half yrs. old.

Here is some stuff to read

This explains the points system NH uses
http://www.dmv.org/nh-new-hampshire/point-system.php

This explains how a suspension works, it appears you have a right to a suspension hearing before they take your license away.

Make sure you scroll down since the real information is at the bottom

From the looks of it unless you got 6 points on your record in the last year your license will not be suspended. 25 MPH over the limit gets you 4 and your under that. And 18 and under suspensions are 3 months not 30 days

This is useful to have too
