What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? PA

Hi,
I was stopped and was given a citation for speeding but the ticket does not have the seconds timed marked, also the officer stated he timed me with "acutrak". When asked the officer refused to supply where he timed me, just the "500 block of 5th ave" (this is written on the citation). What is the law regarding disclosure of "where he timed me" also, the law regarding the seconds timed on a citation.

Thank you for your advise.

I'm not aware of any states which require that you be supplied with any detailed information about a speed measuring device. No more than he would be required to supply you with maintenance records or a radar unit at the time of the stop. Those things are 'testimony' best left to a courtroom. He gave you a copy of the summons. That's all he's required to do. Any further information would be supplied during Discovery.

I haven't heard of a device called "Acutrak", but that doesn't mean anything. If it's a speed/time device, it's sounds like it's similar to VASCAR. If so, there is no minimum time or distance measurement.
