| In Illinois does anyone have advise on how to get out of a ticket for not using turn signals? |

possible helpif your window was down, tell them that you did signal. tell them you used hand signals. you know, arm stright out is a left turn, arm bent up is a right hand turn. if your arm WAS out the window, perhaps you did signal and not know it. i have no law experience, but i believe this is a legal signal (it is in michigan). |

| Use of hand signals instead of turn signals are only acceptable when your turn signals cannot be seen or in older cars that do not have turn signals. |
